Living in Dallas with my cats and a few other distractions like crochet, jewelry, dye work and baking. I retired from my long time job at HP at the end of May 2015. Still trying to redefine my life in retirement but all those hobbies plus some travel helps.

Blue skies for a short while . . . . off to take a walk and try for a nice photo of the hibiscus over at Richland College. It is the big red one which I think is called the Texas Star. This photo is a pink one in my back garden . . . the sole surviving plant from my hibiscus phase . . . I wish I had more sunny space for this plant as the contrast for how it performs compared to the one at Richland makes me a bit sad. But I have other success stories!
