Keeping a blog started out as a way to document some the travel that I was doing plus posting of photos. Then it started to be a bit of a documentation of the path I took to marry an Egyptian then the visa process . . . and waiting on him to get approved and come to the States (well, that didn't happen but I haven't documented the road to the soon-to-be approved divorce).
For awhile i was using my blog to track some of my participation in Alia Thabit's 90-day-dance party . . . which was fun and provided some inspiration. But I haven't continued with that after last Spring's windup. Alia is trying something else this fall which I didn't sign up for.
Instead, I've signed up for Rosa Noreen's online Delicious Pauses Intensive. Well, it is week 3 and I have a lot of work to do.
I was trying to do too much. I had to study for a second certification exam for PeopleTools (PeopleSoft applications technical development tools for programming etc). That really sucked up a lot of time.
And now I need to finish writing a review of my experience in NYC taking Ranya Renee's Om Khalsoum intensive. That is my biggest inspiration this year . . . really . . . working with OM's music.
More later!!
