A first time for me to try doing this. I haven't taste tested the results. Believe it or not, I have had the ground coffee for over a year (you have to get a very coarse grind to do this). I went to my favorite coffee place (and the only specialty coffee roaster that I have really tried in Dallas) where I usually purchase whole beans because I like to grind closer to the time of brewing. I am not a purist so I do make mistakes and keep the ground coffee a bit longer. Oh, i bought the Toddy on the recommendation of the guy that waited on me at the Addison Roasters. He also recommended the Bali coffee for the cold brew. I normally buy the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe for my everyday coffee. :-)
Update! My first cup wasn't too bad. Maybe could be stronger so need to work on the right ratio of water/milk to concentrate. The instructions mention 3 parts liquid to 1 part coffee concentrate. One of the reasons to cold brew is that it is less acidic. Now to try my second cup. Maybe I will do an iced version later,
