I posted this photo for the first time back in February. Now I'm sad because Rufus has been so sick with a urinary tract problem that male cats can develop. Hopefully, the surgery that he went through on Thursday will be ultimately successful. From the reaction of everyone at the East Lake Vet Clinic and the animal surgery center, he deserves to have a long healthy life now because he is such a sweet cat!! He is an gentle giant (13 lbs so far and growing as he is a Maine Coon) and my favorite . . . I wish I could be there with him but I am still travelling for work in the Washington DC area. I have to rely on other people to help me out and I have been blessed to find someone at the East Lake Vet to help me.
