Went to an ME restaurant while in Hong Kong (Central district on HK Island) . . . Habibi. Then while ridiing the Mid-Level Escalator the next weekend, we spotted the sign pointing to it. I kept telling everyone on the night we went that there was this huge escalator going up/down in Central but no one would believe me. Just imagine . . . we could have saved ourselves a tortuous walk up/down/around to Habibi's if we had only realized that the entrance to this escalator was just a short block from the MTR station. Live and learn! Posted by Picasa

This is a pic that V took of me at the Big Buddha . . . see all the fog above me??? The Big Buddha is obscured by the fog! I wish I was, lol! Posted by Picasa

Here V is posing in front of the temple at the Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island. It was a very foggy day, so all my photos from that day appear to have a film over them. Posted by Picasa

Another one of my new day lilies. Posted by Picasa

I really wanted to send myself off with a nice pic of one of the daylilies in my backyard . . . I wonder if any will be left when I get back? Of course, I'm not worried about the heat . . . it is the big feet and uncaring attitudes of the construction guys who are starting the repairs next week . . . they always destroy so many plants . . . that's what I remember from the last time they came through!! Posted by Picasa
